World oil prices are controlled by supply and demand. When the supply is less than the demand, the price goes up. Under Trump we were the largest producer and exporter of oil. That kept the supply at record levels. Then Dopey Joe came in and cut our oil production and exports to ribbons. That reduced the world oil supply while demand increased.
