World oil prices are controlled by supply and demand.
When the supply is less than the demand, the price goes up.
Under Trump we were the largest producer and exporter of oil.
That kept the supply at record levels.
Then Dopey Joe came in and cut our oil production and exports to ribbons.
That reduced the world oil supply while demand increased.
That made the price of oil rise exponentially.
Can you NOT understand that simple concept?

Some people here say gas prices went down during the pandemic, due to less of a demand, and are up now only because the pandemic is over, and demand is high. Not because of Biden's oil & gas policies. That arguement is full of it. The demand was high before the pandemic, and gas prices were much lower than they are currently.

The decreased supply created more demand for the available oil and that caused the prices to skyrocket.

The price of gas has gone up globally (not just in the U.S.). Other governments around the world have for years implemented policy that the U.S. was only planning to do when Biden got into office. Biden's day 1 executive orders there had no baring on all countries in regards to oil prices.
