What's New at Lottery Post

January 21, 2024

• Substantial months-long upgrade to the technology platform that underpins the Lottery Post website. This is not something that can be seen on the website, but it is an important accomplishment since periodic upgrades to the latest technology will ensure the longevity of the website.
• Removed support for old/legacy web browsers, as the usage numbers of long-discontinued browsers such as Internet Explorer have shrunk to almost nothing. This also supports the use of more cutting-edge features in the future, since there is no need to remain compatible with browsers that can't handle them.
• Improved the Lottery Post Videos page to show all videos, rather than just the most recent.
• Lots of internal coding improvements to support better performance and stability.

• Fixed a bug in the Post Predictions page that would not allow same-day posting for the Oregon Pick 4 10pm drawing.
• Fixed minor headline glitches that occasionally happened on the Top Predictors page.

January 2, 2023

• Added new feature to the Pairs Analysis for Pick 3 and Pick 4 to analyze pairs after the original combination is converted to box form (digits in sorted order). For example, if the original combination being analyzed is 321, the system previously would analyze the front pair as 32 (Front Pair Straight) or 23 (Front Pair Box). Now, the system also can analyze the front pair as 12 (Front Pair from Box Combination).

• Improved the number input experience in the Lottery Results Seach Engine and VTracs Search Engine pages so that the cursor advances to the next input space more reliably, and does not input characters into the wrong space when typing very quickly.

• Improved the Lottery News page so that the first page always includes at least one full month of news stories. Previously, the first page of news stories would include only those stories published in the current month, so if today were 1st of the month the first page would only show the stories published today.
• Fixed a bug on the Lottery News page that prevented it from showing past months. (Regression bug included in last update.)
• Fixed a bug on the Lottery Results Seach Engine and VTracs Search Engine pages that prevented the drop-down page selection from working correctly. (Regression bug included in last update.)

• Improved the Lottery Results Seach Engine and VTracs Search Engine pages to include a button that copies a link direct to the search options. This allows you to instantly re-run the same query in the future.
• Also changed the search engines to leave the numbers and options you enter intact, even when you change the games/draw times to search.
• Minor improvements and bug fixes based on feedback.

• Fixed a bug on the Daily Numbers Games and Vtrac Lottery Results pages the was triggered due to it being the first time we hit the first of the month since the new website was launched, and the bug only happens on the first of the month. Clicking a link to show the results history would show a blank page.
• Improved past lottery results pages so that the first page of past results always has at least one full month of results displayed. Previously, the first page of past results would have however many days were drawn in the current month, so if today were 1st of the month it would only show a maximum of one result.

• Added a feature to the Daily Numbers Games page that shrinks the table down to a compact format, suitable for taking a screenshot of the complete table on a phone screen.
• Added several new buttons to the mobile text editor, including color pickers, better font selection, search and replace, table creator, and special characters.

• Added a note on Game Information pages when the number of balls drawn is different from the number of balls you select when purchasing a ticket (common in Keno games, for example).
• Fixed a glitch in the Lottery Results Search Engine that affected games in which more balls are drawn than the player chooses when buying a ticket (such as Keno games).
• Numerous fixes and minor improvements found after the initial launch.

After completing a 2-year project of rebuilding the entire Lottery Post website from the ground-up, we have retired our old desktop and mobile websites, and replaced them with the new unified Lottery Post. Both mobile and desktop users now have the full range of features and content available to them, in a website built on the latest web technologies that ensures Lottery Post is prepared for the future. • Draw times for multi-jurisdiction games such as Powerball, Mega Millions, Lotto America, etc., are now shown in the local time zone of the state, country, or province being displayed. Previously, draw times for multi-juridiction games were always shown in Eastern Time for USA and Canada games, and GMT for European games.

• Added game popup menus to Latest Predictors on main page and Yesterday's Winners page.
• Added an auto timeout of 30 seconds to new private message popup notification, and now preventing message from incorrectly appearing again if you navigate back to the page that originally showed it.
