Just speculation at the time I wrote it, but apparently Trump did have a standard order that regardless of the classification, every document he took was declassified.

But The Espionage Act does not distinguish between classified and declassified materials unauthorized retention of any document relevant to the statute remains a crime.

If according to Trump everything he took to Florida was declassified, why did he say the FBI planted classified documents? And why not just shut his mouth before he incriminates himself?
