Violations of Espionage Act, oh my!
Published:
You MAGA people better win a huge jackpot so you can keep your "favorite president" out of prison! Or least help him pay for the millions in legal funds to keep him out. Just speculation at the time I wrote it, but apparently Trump did have a standard order that regardless of the classification, every document he took was declassified.
But "The Espionage Act does not distinguish between classified and declassified materials – unauthorized retention of any document relevant to the statute remains a crime."
If according to Trump everything he took to Florida was declassified, why did he say the FBI planted classified documents? And why not just shut his mouth before he incriminates himself?
Never mind, we're talking about Donald Trump.

* Back in his 2016 presidential campaign, then-candidate Trump made it clear that he believed himself to be more knowledgeable than the military’s leadership. “I know more about ISIS than the generals do, believe me,” he bragged in November 2015. “They don’t know much because they’re not winning,” he reiterated in June 2016.
So it came as something of a surprise when he loaded his administration with the people he had insulted, naming Michael Flynn his first national security adviser, H.R. McMaster his second national security adviser, Mattis his first Secretary of Defense, and Kelly his first Secretary of Homeland Security and later his second chief of staff. His first Attorney General, Jeff Sessions, also appointed Mark Inch to lead the Federal Bureau of Prison. None of those individuals remain.
Without any proof, delusional people are still saying there was widespread election fraud. And now some of the same people are saying without proof the FBI planted evidence even though Trump's lawyers were watching.
That MAGA QAnon Kool-Aid sure is some powerful mind-altering stuff.
