The walnuts you mentioned reminds me of my favorite salad. A chicken Waldorf salad with bits of chicken (obviously...LOL), mayo, walnuts, and apples, served over some greens. The sweetness of the apples combined with the nutty essence of the walnuts, compliments the chicken very well. My other dish invoving walnuts is a Persian receipe.
