Yummy! I'm going to try this for my 4th of July party. Angel, you need to publish a recipe book. You have great recipes! Thanks so much!

You really do have refreshing ideas for food.

The walnuts you mentioned reminds me of my favorite salad. A chicken Waldorf salad with bits of chicken (obviously...LOL), mayo, walnuts, and apples, served over some greens.

The sweetness of the apples combined with the nutty essence of the walnuts, compliments the chicken very well.
My other dish invoving walnuts is a Persian receipe. It's basically a stew that is poured over Basmati rice (popcorn rice). The stew contains chicken, ground walnuts, pomegrande sauce, with a little sugar and salt. It's just pure heaven, because after about 2 hours of simmering, the whole color changes into a beautiful dark, marronish brown sauce that is out of this world. Again...the nuts complimenting the chicken...HMMMM

Yeah this sounds like another winner. I eat black olives by the can so this is right up my alley.

Thanks, angelm!
