Simon Cowell (American Idol) is the right way. When I was about 8 years old, my father insisted that I audition for the Broadway play "Pippins". I felt very uneasy and unprepared. Sure enough, when we finally got there waiting on a long line of child wanna be's, It was finally my turn, and he asked me to recite some tongue twister about some ducks in a lake or something.
