Many people and some police believe permission is needed to film someone, but the Supreme Court ruled anything we can see in public, we can film.

Ego was a big factor and why people were illegally detained and sometimes arrested and held until superior officers showed up. And some of them didn't understand that filming in public is a Constitutional protected activity. Without qualified immunity police officers are now responsible for some if not all monetary awards for illegal arrests and detainments.... [ More ]
