We are spending ONE MILLION DOLLARS A MINUTE on the war on IRAQ! THOU SHALT NOT KILL! I'm not worried at ALL about so called "illegal" immigrants. Why? Two reasons! I work in the construction industry. To do framing labor to build a house the bidding area for american run frame contractors was from 8 to 10 dollars a sguare foot to frame a house. These contractors and their employees are now out of work. Why. Mexican carpenters have come in and bid framing jobs at the rate of $2.75 to $3.00 per sguare foot of house area. I won't get into the food assistance programs since such a comment might touch nerves. In my heart I believe every person deserves shelter and food, but I know of several families who moved here from Mexico (they came here legally on work visas) and are getting assistance. Then if their children move in with them, they qualify for even more money. Then the parents come over and they get even a larger refund. This comes from taxes we've paid for many years.
