I felt like that after I lost my 18 yr old son in a car accident 10 yrs ago. I fully empathize with you and want you to know you are still in my thoughts and prayers!!!

Haven't been back here for a while. Seems the more things change, the more they remain the same. Sometimes we question our expected purpose in life. When a lifelong partner is lost, especially when it's totally unexpected, it's like falling into a bottomless pit. The darkness of grief surrounds you as everything passes you by with no end in sight.

I have awakened early some mornings to an empty bed wondering if she is having her coffee or preparing for work, and then suddenly realize she is gone forever, never ever to return again. Those have been some really really bad days.

Always cherish and love the ones around you, life is not a guarantee, it's a gift...
