One thing i was thinking is that the cage that holds the engine could have a second small fan that blows forward soddered in front of the comercial airplane engine pump...thus water will sip in through the fan and it will be absorbed by the engine pump and the stuff that are planning to clog the engine get pumped out...or maybe the forces balance out or there is 20% more water coming in that what goes forward...

Something they could do is create a "huge" post and colgar/hang from there the pump and let it dip into the water vertically, but perhaps smaller pumps not a big one like the engine of a comercial plane, then have several of this pumps hanging and them some how mechanically withdraw them when something get stuck, but i was thinking in placing the pumps in a sort of cage that will impede anything from getting suck, but i was thinking in hanging the pump in the river from the tip of the water and then the water gets pump and goes up the tube up then horizontally then vertically and then into a large tank and then from the tank it gets filter or maybe not then it gets suctioned to a plant to be filter for then to go to the dessert...All this suction goes on in a damn or a regular river...If it occurs in a damn there is less likelyness that it will get stuck to something...... Think about it, you can create a global lottery for this, or you can wait 30 or 60 years for when a company to do this...Companies get money but is little by little while a lottery is an "elevator"...It will take a company decades and decades and decades to do this, while a lottery does it in 1 month, while a company has to wait for the next contract to make a lot of money....

Another idea is to bore a tunnel with the TBM TUnnel Boring Machine and bore several tunels to the ocean and let the water pour through them and then we absorb water from them and carry it to a processing plant to take the salt out of it...maybe make a uturn in the tunnel...What i am saying is there are ways...

i also think that salt corrodes iron [the pipes] unless the pipes are made of cement or brick or a special material/metal does salt corrodes titatinium? aluminium? etc? i think it corrodes iron because of the iron particular configurations of electrons and salt particular configuration, unless you can pour a special liquid with the salt water that will neutralize the effects of salt...

Think about this you dig a big hole in the sand 20 feet from shore place a pump in the sand you run the hose clear across the beach to some other area away from any body of water. As the tide comes in the hole fills up with water no matter how fast or big your pump is it cannot stop the tide or keep the hole intact. The hole collapses the sand rushes in clogging the pump. AN END TO FLOODS...JUST TRYING TO HELP...

What we need now is to invent THE BIGGEST WATER PUMP as huge as possible, maybe the size of cars, the hugest one you can invent for flood and then connect the water pump into pipes that run to the desert but or to a forrest controlled by a valve ....That, and create the VOLUNTEERING STOCK EXCHANGE for when natural disasters strike...i don't understand oil companies have oil pipes running from Saudi Arabia all the way to the USA yet they can't create huge pumps connect them to pipe and let them empty out into the dessert or forrest...just think of the billions the government will save each year, billions that can go to more important cause...

AN END TO DESSERTS, AN IRRIGATION SYSTEM TO DESERT/FORREST....

I got another idea...Why not create a pump the side of a car and connect it to a huge river and then connect the pump to pipes that empty out in the desert all year long...The rivers are water that are wasted year long and empty out the pipes to the dessert or forrest with the help of a valve...But it will have to be a huge pump....So if in the desert water doesn't run, you run it through it...ask yourself the question, there are rivers that are massive where the water flows from the mountains to the ocean and is sweet water wasted, water that could go to watering a dessert...OR create a man-made river with SEVERAL EUROTUNEL MACHINES FROM THE OCEAN AND THEN BORROW THE WATER FROM THE MAN-MADE RIVER, SEND IT TO A PLANT THAT EXTRACTS THE SALT AND THEN USE SMALL PIPES TO RUN IT THROUGH THE DESSER AND LET SPRINKLE UP THE DESSERT...
