We have clear-cutting around this area for development with replanting of smaller trees. We also have a totally lame Atlanta tree ordinance where one of their unqualified "arborists" has to come out to deliver last rites on a dead and dangerous tree, then have to go through an expen$$$$ive permitting and approval proce$$$$ to be able to prevent it from falling on your neighbor's child and being wiped out from liability claims and litigation resulting from it. I wasn't saying greens are good. I don't much care for them, myself, though I'm an environmental sort of hombre. I've known a lot of greens and generally don't like them. I'm merely saying they aren't to blame, except maybe for help shut down all the nuclear power plants in this country, which is a piece of why we're in this fix. Jack

If photovoltaic and wind energy found widespread use even at the currentl level of technology and commuter passenger cars of the sort I've described were allowed and encouraged we'd be in a position to be an exporter of fuel, rather than an importer a year from now. Jack

It's time to get practical and quit allowing whiners and snivelers to block progress. Whiners and snivelers were not the of this nation but they've been allowed to run things for far too long when in fact they don't have enough rational street level common sense to cross the street .... only posture, pout and scream for their mama to come fix their ouchie.
