<br />What the officers need to do is tell all Canadians on how to correctly tip Taxi drivers in the U.S. Atleast then, the cops can become useful.

Custom officers are god at the borders. Clearly the customs officer asking what specific store, was a bully and an idiot unless he had reason to suspect something. In which case he used that question to "set" the Canadian up. Any reasonable person would be upset at a stupid question. They could have just had him pull his car over to the side and conduct their search - they don't need to ask stupid questions first. The Canadian, being involved with law enforcement, should have kept his mouth shut instead of fighting god.... [ More ]

It's not a liberal/conservative issue. If the 'jerks' didn't have a lit fuse in their pants or drugs/explosives in their car, the reasonable thing to do would be to send them on their way and look for people who are *actually* dangerous.

I guess a lot of liberals will listen to that recording and get all worked up about "mistreatment" of someone. Personally, I think the border cops handled those jerks perfectly. The only mistreatment was the disgusting, rotten attitude of the Canadians who acted like the USA was their doormat. Hopefully next time they visit our country they will treat the border cops with respect, and they will value the opportunity to come here.
