Interview in AL was postponed till next Friday. They had some issues in the plant and did not want me there at that time. LP gets around, i was at a gas station at Jefferson and South River road in Harrison Township MI and conversing with a couple friends when this unknown person asked, your CutlassBob? I'm like, ya how ya doing. He sais "i've seen you on lottery post" thanks for the numbers. I thought he was gonna beat me up, LoL What a small world we live in now days. NO A/C in the Cutlass, but i will need a nice electric fan set up to keep her cool. I love the heat. Got my Jeep that does have A/C. Thx for the best wishes.

Thx brels and Konane, I expect i will be making trips to Georgia more often than that :) It's only an interview but it sounds very good. They need a manager with predictive maintenance skills to go along with preventative skills and has worked in a fast paced just in time atmosphere. Someone who shows urgency, as i hear it the current manager sais to the plant manager "Oh you wanted that done today" <Say that with a southern accent. The very best of luck moving into a new awesome job situation! Hey you won't be too far from the Georgia line so you can make a run every few of weeks for tickets. Alabama's been helping keep Georgia green with lottery dollars for a long time. ;-)

Earlier this year i posted that i may be moving to Alabama. Well it looks like i have a job opportunity in the Birmingham/Talladega area. If all goes well i will be leaving for Alabama Saturday morning. With a visit to the plant operations and interview Monday.

I don't really want to leave the State of Michigan but in the last year and ten months i have put out 191 resumes. Had misc interviews and have been told i am over qualified, or never heard a word from the hiring managers after the interview. I have followed up with phone calls and thank you letters with no reply either way. How unprofessional for a hiring manager.

All in all i am happy to be headed south. Sweet Home Alabama? Only time will tell.

I will miss the lottery, but i got mama here who plays, we will be playing jointly!
