Trust the justice sysytem casey . The media was against her they found her guilty b4 the jury presided .. If you had watch how the trial went you will not hate Casey Anthony. I was watching NBC dateline and i noticed that a lot of issues was not available to the public media . Many mishaps may convinse u that the her parents look more guilty than her .. The jury did their job.. George Anthony seems like the murderer according to him he seen her body in the swimming pool and picked her up and it was accident. wow !!... [ More ]

There is no room for uncertainty when it comes to life imprisonment or death penalty. The blame lies squarely on the police investigators for not solving the crime and the state for rushing to prosecute the crime with a weak case. The jury did what it was supposed to do. Comparing it to the OJ case, many thought he was guilty as well. However investigators did not focus on OJ's son Jason who was also a prime suspect. You can not convict anyone, if the evidence does not connect them to the crime. Not one bit of evidence they presented connected her to the crime. The autopsy did not determine how the child died, big factor, in my opinon. Sad yes, but the jury must use the evidence presented. After watching one week of the trial, my friend and I agreed, there would not be a 1st degree conviction.

Apparently this was not heard by the jury, I can't imagine why. The woman sent home with Casey when she got out on bail had this to report. Casey said, "Look at my tatoo, I got it in memory of Caylee". The baby's body had not been found yet but she was talking about her in the past tense!!

She was found guilty only on the four counts of lying to the police. These are misdomeanors that could be sentenced one year in prison for each so 4 yrs. but, she will prolly go free (for time served)Thurs. morning at 9am when the judge will sentence her in court on live TV.

She has been charged (according to one news story I read) with lying about certain matters. Those carry separate penalties, to be decided later.

Boy will the jury be shocked when they hear it now. I was not shocked at the verdict after watching the circus in the courtroom that was suppose to be a trial. That's the way the system works. But I am shocked that she was not charged with not reporting her child missing and lying about her whereabouts. Surely that is a crime.

TigerAngel.....Casey just won the LOTTERY today.....she will go on to write book, have movie made.....appear on every show and magazine...and never serve a day for the death of her 2 y/o baby that she killed...I would not be surprise is she and Baez run off into the sunset together to make millions off the death of the precious little girl...I agree with you, there was so much evidence and what was the jurors thinking..??? Question? If your 2 year old daughter was missing, how long would you wait to call 911? 30 minutes? One hour? How about never? After 31 days it was the grandmother that called 911 and said her granddaughter has been missing for 31 days!

I'm shocked that the jury found tot mom not guilty! The evidence was huge. Maybe they shouldn't have gone for the death penalty and that was the problem for the jury. So, if she didn't murder her 2 year old daughter then who did?
