Note: The affected drawing was Thurs. midday, not Friday as mentioned in the article. Thurs. midday pick-4 players, get those tickets out of the garbage can and check them.I commend IL for rectifying this. After my e-mail to them about it and the shoddy response I received from them, I was ready to throw in the towel. But Carolyn Adams did the right thing. Good for her

Technical difficulties with the Illinois State Lottery's Friday broadcast could turn into a nice payoff for some Pick Four ticket holders.A programming glitch halted taping during the 12:40 p.m. drawing after the number nine had been already drawn on air, said lottery spokesman Courtney Hill. Since there was a problem with the live broadcast, four new numbers were drawn, Hill said.
