When I delivered NY Lottery New$, I tried to target stores that recently had a big winner. During its last few years (LN folded at the end of 2001) it published the names and addresses of NY stores that sold Take Five and NY Lotto first prizes.

Stores that have sold tickets are bound to have increased business, especially after their store name gets printed in a newspaper.
