They won, and they received their money (in lump sum), so they should be allowed to keep it. You can argue the second MM winner should not be allowed to their winnings since AFAIK they haven't claimed.

That makes no sense. Why should previous winners have to give the money back just because the state might be pulling out of MM? They won the money, they should get to keep the money...and they will. It has nothing to do with anyone who didn't happen to win.

if they pull MM out of California then all the people who won a jackpot should not get anything because thats not fair for the rest of us. its better when only one ticket wins. Well goodluck to the winners, hope the jackpot doesn't ruin your life, because winning the lottery does have problems of its own

However, if this issue is still being debated by the Gaming Board, the Legislature and the Courts of CALI, why are the residents of CALI, allowed to play the M M Tickets, in the first place????I'm thinking it's because the issue at hand is going to be dropped or thrown out of the courts.
