You have a good point, MadDog! I must be out of my mind. I've never been a golddigger but I keep meeting old wealthy men, especially living in FL. Last week I wrote a policy for a man born in 1917...pretty healthy too. That's the problem. Chances are these guys would all outlive me! LOL

I have to wonder if Ludmila Konickova had won the lottery jackpot if she would have felt an e-mail relationship would have entitled someone else to half or all of her winnings, even though there wasn't any proof of such an agreement.

some people gave her the idea to steal money from this man. They are both undecent anyway. He dumped her after winning the lottery. She sued him for the money.

In her legal action, Konickova said she should have received at least $6 million, but since Garbe breached his unwritten contract to share the winnings, she should be entitled to the entire $12.4 million, plus interest.

Isn't this justice? I guess the guy has to wait to win again before he can get his share.

What some people think of others. If he gave her all the money and then shoots her he would be another crazy man. Who knows how long this man has been dreaming of winning the lottery... [ More ]

Ludmila Konickova hadn't known him long. They'd met 18 weeks earlier through an Internet dating service, but she claims it was a trusting and committed relationship.

She also claims she gave her 52-year-old boyfriend, Kenneth Garbe, $20 to buy a lottery ticket for the June 2 Super 7 draw, saying she took it on faith he would pass on any winnings.
