Thanks for clearing that up for me. I was thinking if the news reporter was correct in that report, I will stop playing for the big ticket money in NC. LOL

lol..if NC taxes were that high this would be an empty state!!! There was a group of 14 people that shared one ticket. Thats what each of them got after taxes.

I heard on the news last night that that the people that won the million dollars only got to keep $36,000 after taxes. That can't be right! NC has high taxes but it can't be that much. Has anyone heard anthing different

Do not give up. Purchased a loser ticket. Waiting for the next Raffle. They did so well, I am sure there will be a second time around.

I bought one ticket and it had all of the numbers of one the winners but not in the winning order! It was one of the Million dollar winners and I am still PO'd.
