North Carolina Sizzlin' Millionaire Raffle results

Sizzlin' Millionaire Raffle is a raffle game offered by the North Carolina Lottery, with a limited number of $20 tickets.

With only 500,000 tickets sold for the raffle, Millionaire Raffle offers the best odds to win $1 million of any North Carolina Lottery game.

There is one drawing on July 4, 2007 to select four $1 million prize winners, five $100,000 prize winners, and 500 $1,000 prize winners.

I bought one ticket and it had all of the numbers of one the winners but not in the winning order!  It was one of the Million dollar winners and I am still PO'd.

Blue Angel Do not give up. Purchased a loser ticket. Waiting for the next Raffle. They did so well, I am sure there will be a second time around.

I  heard on the news last night that that the people that won the million dollars only got to keep $36,000 after taxes.  That can't be right!  NC has high taxes but it can't be that much.  Has anyone heard anthing different?

lol..if NC taxes were that high this would be an empty state!!! There was a group of 14 people that shared one ticket. Thats what each of them got after taxes.

Thanks for clearing that up for me.  I was thinking if the news reporter was correct in that report, I will stop playing for the big ticket money in NC. LOLCrazy
