Congratulations to New Mexico and Minnesota for spliting the winning jackpot. I hope that New Mexico and Minnesota Hot Loto jackpot winners don't have financial problems later in life. Did New Mexico and Minnesota choose the cash option? I'm happy that the Hot Lotto winning jackpot was a double combination of White Ball 3 and Hot Ball 3.

HOT Lotto is computerized (RNG drawing) and Powerball is a Normal ball drawing. The similarity between Hot Lotto and Powerball is the same similarity between Pong and Tennis.

Winning Hot Lotto ticket sold in New Mexico

New Mexico Lottery officials say one of two winning tickets for Saturday's Hot Lotto drawing was sold in New Mexico.

The other ticket was sold in Minnesota. The winners will split a $1.9 million jackpot.

The New Mexico winning ticket is the first Hot Lotto jackpot winner for the state since the game first went on sale there in November, 2006.

The New Mexico Lottery also offers Hot Lotto's better-known sibling, Powerball. Hot Lotto is played in nine other states.
