Well, the extra play does come at a price. The payouts are about half the amount they would be. So you're really not getting anything extra from the promotion.

It will work guys. I've done it. In fact i purchased 20 tickets by filling out one play on each ticket and got 20 free tickets.

This is kinda odd. No one will ever want to buy more than one ticket at a time on Fridays now. If I were to buy ten I would definetly old up the line and tell the clerk to print them all off seperatly...haha

Nice! I don't see why it wouldn't work, because the store will get the comission for selling the winning ticket.

Diamond, I did something similar Friday. I used 2 separate play slips so I could get 2 free tickets instead of 1.

I'll probably start playing Fantasy 5 on Fridays as long as this promotion is going on (through Jan. 2009). It certainly sounds like a good promotion. Of course, any lotto promotion that gives you free chances to win sounds good, doesn't it

Not a bad promotion at all.

I'll play on Friday, and see if I can use 5 slips each with 1 play marked so I will end up with 5 free quick picks. :D

If this does not work, I'll go to another store, there are like 4 within 2 blocks or come back later in the day.

Ga lottery is so much better than the lottery here. I can't wait till we get another director for our lottery.

The Georgia Lottery began a new promotion of its Fantasy 5 game Friday, increasing players' chances to win the Pick 5-style lotto game.

Every Friday from October 10, 2008 through January 16, 2009 is Fantasy 5 Friday with a buy one, get one free promotion.

A free Fantasy 5 Quick Pick ticket for the next drawing will be automatically printed following any Fantasy 5 ticket purchased on Friday, through the end of the promotion in January.
