I would have gone back to work also. $345,000 would not be enough for me to quit my job. If it was over 1 Million then I would quit my job.

I wouldn't even quit my job if I hit the minimum 3 million FLA lottery JP. Insurance alone would eat me alive if I quit my job

A man who mind is on his money!!! Hopefully he didn't put into his ira or his

psp. you have to be careful where u put your winnings. Comerica will eat

your money away with different fees for this and that. I recently lost a

$1000. in my mutal funds. I think next I'll dig a hole in the backyard.

Of course he went back to work, did they expect the guy at his age to retire after winning $345,000?? I'm sure that doesn't include the potential remaining 10% he might have to pay at tax time which would put up at $295,000. It's not peanuts or anything but that's certainly not enough to live off for the rest of ones life, especially at his age. Anyway, congrats to him! It certainly is a nice boost to his bank account though.

Caleb Steele left his job long enough Thursday morning to collect the $500,000 prize he won on a scratch-off lottery ticket at a Duluth store. Then it was back to work installing a basketball court in the yard of a nearby home.

I'm a working man, said Steele, 35, of Acworth.

There was nothing unusual about him buying a $5 Players's Club lottery ticket on Nov. 7, the day his mother celebrated her birthday. He had previously won up to $100 playing scratch-off games.
