This was the second year for the Million-Dollar Raffle. Lottery officials claim the economy and lack of advertising hurt total sales.

My friend in Kansas sent me a ticket and I was about 5 numbers away from winning $500. Too bad I didn't have the million dollar ticket. Congrats to the lucky winner.

I believe this is the first raffle for Missouri. Congrats to the new millionaire!

Somebody is $1 million richer following the Missouri Lottery's Million-Dollar Raffle drawing, which was held today.

One winning raffle number was drawn for the $1 million top prize, four winning numbers were drawn to win $100,000 and 440 lucky players' winning numbers were drawn to receive $500.
