It all depends on what the player chooses to play, Statisticaly you have a better chance in winning on scratchers. It all comes down to being in the right place at the right time. If you would have brought that 101st scratch ticket and won you would have her to thank for your fortune by getting rid of all the DUD Tickets for you.

We make a living by what we earn, We make a LIFE by what we give.

Sir Winston Churchill

I GOT MY SHADES ON WAITING FOR THE SUN TO SHINE MY WAY

those dumb scratch tickets. there is a reason why they have those fancy bright colors on them. They are cash cows. I never see a brother buying $30 worth of mega millions at a drop but scratch tickets? you bet'cha to use Sarah Palins phrase. I once saw an elderly Chinese lady who clearly didnt look like as if she could afford spending $100 on scratch tickets and thats exactly what she did. She won nothing.

I buy them like once a month.

If it wasn't for dumb luck I wouldn't have any luck at all. I'm at a total loss with math. If you could apply geography or history to win I'd do a lot better, lol.

That being said, I'm probably just as well off with scratchers as anything else cuz it's all just the luck of the draw for me.

Now if I could just devise and apply geography and history somehow to win... hmmm...

Think I'll just have another shot o' Jack instead.

Scratch offs are horrible in my opinion I've never won a dime from them but I've hit the daily games more than once and never spent over $10.The scratch offs have horrible odds and it's pure luck compared too the daily games at least with them you can use some kind of strategy like I did too hit cash3 and play4 scratch offs aer pretty much out of your control as far as strategy is concerned.

I liked this story. It restores a little faith in scratchers, especially the $20 dollar ones of which I've had a few and never got so much as a dollar back. But then again, maybe he has a horseshoe somewhere I don't. For some reason, paying $20 for a scratcher that minutes later tells you that you lost is a little harder to take than waiting overnight or a couple days on a draw game for me.

I gave up on them a long time ago but now I think I'll give them another shot, who knows.... [ More ]

A Jacksonville man bought a winning $1 million scratch-off lottery ticket Saturday six years after claiming a $250,000 prize from another game.

Persistence pays off, Robert Myers, 51, said in a statement released Monday by the Florida Lottery.

As to the obvious question: Oh yes, I will continue to play.

In fact, lottery officials said he was back at it again Sunday, playing Billion Dollar Blockbuster, the $20-a-ticket game he had just won.

Myers couldn't be reached by phone Monday.... [ More ]
