Sorry I don't know how to post links. All the reference to OJ is from the news story dated March 12......read the story Lottery Slaying now a 1st Degree case.

I remember the riots. Thank God I was in Orange County but I could still smell the smoke and see the ashes flying in the air not to mention the endless news coverage.

I don't know who Phil Spector is but yeah the whole Robert Blake thing was as joke.

I do wonder why a thread about a lottery winner being murdered turned into a tirade about OJ Simpson. But since it has....

People have long since moved past the Rodney King verdict. The only times it is brought up is in response to someone pulling the OJ card. Yes, that sense of denied justice that we rightfully feel over the OJ verdict is a feeling black people know all too well.

My point is only that bad people should pay for their crimes. I don't give a crap what color those bad people are.

I don't want murderers of any color walking the street.

There are one or two people here though who would applaud or even join in with the mob that dragged a nice man named Reginald Denny out of his truck and beat him and bashed his skull in with a brick and then proudly proclaim: Finally we got one!!

People like that make me sick.

ridge your making to much sense now stop it..Next she'll say the jury's way back when was in favor of the white lawyers and judges kinda like the jury in the OJ trail was bias in favor of the black client and black lead lawyer Johnny..Is tiggs making any sense or should he take some meds and lay down..tiggs knows!!!..Both statements equal a wash..Case solved..:)..Everybody's guilty or is everbody innocent??..Need to lay down and be quiet for a bit..

In America a jury also acquitted 4 police officers even though they were caught on tape beating Rodney King.

I don't think the jury found OJ innocent........they simply could not PROVE he was guilty. There is a difference.

This isn't about OJ or Rodney....it's about a woman accused of killing a man and no doubt about more people being involved in this.

A lot of those people who did the lynchings were found not guilty by juries too.

So you condemn and then support the same corruption of the legal process.

You can't have it both ways.

The outrage here though is that you would applaud a murderer getting away with the slaughter of two innocent people. Two families utterly devastated by having their loved ones butchered alive and you consider it a good thing.

That kind of thinking comes from a sick, twisted mind.

I hope they get all of the snip s and put them away for the rest of their life without the possibility of parole. In fact if the trigger person can be identified; that person should be put to death. The rest of the gang put away for life.

@ ridgy.......OJs trial was mentioned in my book The Drunkards Walk. Basically it's saying that of the 4 million women battered annually by husbands and boyfriends.......in 1992 1 in 2,500 were killed by their husbands or boyfriends. This was used in the defense. The statistic they failed to mention was that of all the battered women murdered in the United States in 1993, some 90 percent were killed by their abuser.

Well, she can have the same shot OJ did..take her sorry behind to trial, then if the jury finds her INNOCENT..then she should go free! Everyone is always talking about OJ but look how many times blacks were hung and the perpetrators went free..I say at least that one time he may have been guilty but a jury found him innocent.
