You are so right people who but tickets already know they wil get cheted and have gotten tired og throwing money away i bought six this month and did not get even 1.00 back

Same is to be said for pick 3 and pick 4 we already know that the games are rigged so how are we ever going to win

Mr. and Miss Lottery Commissioners go figure, you budgets are going fall even lower if you don't play fair and let people win

It is hard to overcome player burnout over too many tickets bought and too few wins. But on the other hand they are doing a good job in preventing gambling addiction. I'll pick scratch tickets out of the trash sometimes and see if someone overlooked a winner. I like to say you have almost as much chance of winning that way and it is a lot cheaper.

People are not just going to throw their money away..I don't care how many gimmicks they think up. If a player thinks that there is a good chance they will lose their money, they aren't going to play. Scratch-offs to me are a waste of time but there are folks who play them all of the time. i don't see any big winner pictures of them in the place so they either are breaking even or losing. No gimmicks. Just cash. Increase starting jackpots and that will increase sales. The Florida Lottery starts at $2 million. When the Lottery started in Florida in 1988 the jackpots started at $7 million. Even in a recession some players only get out bed for jackpots of 100 million or more.

Maybe there would not be such a large problem if they included more winning tickets in the scratch off games. I wouldn't mind purchasing if I won more than every once in a blue moon then maybe I would purchase on a regular basis.
