I can understand if someone gets a QP for a buck and has no clue they won, but for $20 that's something you remember. Maybe the person died or was in an accident, moved or went to jail. PA Lotto just has to announce it, so nobody can say they didn't. Good luck on the July 9 draw. Best odds to become a millionaire, 1 in 125,000. Very good.

no fair pa.if the ticket exp. on a day that the lottery office is closed,it should be extended to the next day.what if the person that has it is franticly searching for the ticket and does not find it til late on friday night

this one won't be claimed. those raffle drawings are often an afterthought by the purchaser since it is not a normal lottery drawing that people are trained to check on..wonder if pa made a sincere effort to publicize this in time..don't see what they could gain by not having winner come forward. this ticket was thrown out by somebody who just wasn't aware.. it happens.

does anyone know what happens to unclaimed prizes? it has to be a significant amount, especially with smaller amounts not ever being claimed unknowingly.

Wow, I hope the winner is purposely holding out and is not dead or has lost the ticket. It's always a happy

ending when a winner emerges, especially at the last minute! It makes you want to cheer, partly because

PA lottery isn't able to keep the winnings in the 'Lottery Fund'.

Time is running out for the holder of a Pennsylvania Lottery Millionaire Raffle ticket worth $1 million from the July 10, 2010, drawing to claim the prize.

The ticket and prize will expire one year from the date of the drawing, but because that date falls on a Sunday, it must be presented a bit sooner.
