I don't play the Daily Numbers. I don't have enough money. The money should go into the next Cash 5 Drawing if it expires.

I am just waiting to be the first big Mega Millions winner from PA

I am not from PA but I think they should have 2nd chance drawing giving the money away to many. Give 350 players a grand each. After all it is the players money. The state already took their cut to go for whatever programs they are doing.

That is why I think unclaimed lottery prizes should go into a states unclaimed funds account. Most all other unclaimed funds go there.

Hey check your states unclaimed funds dept to see if your name is there. Not hard to do. Billions in states unclaimed funds.

For the heck of it I looked through the Fl Lottery site - Lotto - Fantasy Five etc to see how many winning tickets expired. I was amazed to see an $18M Lotto prize never claimed. Hard to believe ! I couldn't find a place that shows how many top prize winning scratchers were never claimed/expired.

Typically, the state lottery's claim that unclaimed jackpot prizes go towards future promo's such as second chnace drawings

Why don't people take better care of their tickets after they purchase them? I treat mine just like cash--they go in my wallet immediately.

Makes one wonder why the players haven't been alllowed to have a 2nd chance drawing for the monies unclaimed. Do it twice a year and give back to those who contributed, afterall that money came from the players and not the state lottery. Then if after the 2nd chance those folks dont claim, then the state can have it....
