imagine being found dead in a dumpster you cant get out of, WITH THE WINNING TICKET IN YOUR COLD DEAD HANDS!

A happy ending would have been saving the lottery ticket. I dont see anything happy about saving the player without his ticket. The whole reason for everything was to save the ticket...

This Story has at least a Happy ending! so we can celebrate with a fellow lottery player across the Atlantic for the biggest lottery win ever, LIFE.

The garbage lorries could have been there and picked up everything including the elder, and that would not have been pretty at all.

Some very mean Dutch teenagers, like the football(soccer) players also from Amsterdam, who kicked their linesman to death at a game in Almere, could have gotten there ahead of the Good Samaritans and may not be as... [ More ]

A 76-year-old man trapped himself in an underground waste paper container in Amsterdam after he clambered in to hunt for a lottery ticket.

Police said in a statement the elderly man managed to open the container and climb in Thursday because he feared he had tossed out a lottery ticket along with other used paper.

Passers-by heard him calling for help and alerted the police who freed him with the help of firefighters.

The bad news? The man didn't find his lottery ticket.
