I hope to be one of them. I wonder if they have plans on how to manage huge amount of jackpot prize! They need to have financial advisor to help them with their finances. Just like the advice in one article that I have read, the winner should have a plan first before claiming his/her price so they will not end up broke after few years.

I wonder if the Belgian and Irish winners will get together after they get their money?

The Belgian could invite the Irishman to Belgium for Belgian Waffles.

And the Irishman could invite the Belgian to come over to Ireland and get drunk.

HaHaHa, its all smoke and mirrors. I have yet to see a country worth living in, that has a tax code that states, Lottery winnings are not personal income, and are totally exempt from taxation . In the USA, they really stick it to you-up front and in the rear-fed,state,city-and you still have to figure out, at the end of the tax year, what else you owe. YIKES!!!. Some other countries, they give you the illusion that, since they are not collecting any money from you, up front, as taxes, its free.

there is no tax on lottery winnings in Ireland or Belgium. The only European countries that tax lottery winnings are Switzerland, Spain and Portugal since 2013.

Two very lucky EuroMillions players in Ireland and Belgium have won almost 94 million each in the latest jackpot draw Tuesday evening.

There were two winning tickets sharing the top prize of over 187,937,614 (US$245.5 million).

The winning tickets were sold in Ireland and in Belgium. When contacted this evening, a spokeswoman for the Ireland National Lottery was not yet aware of the location where the winning ticket was purchased.
