In Australia players can register, they get a Players Card, the size of a credit card, you use it whatever you buy tickets.

If you lose your ticket or forget to check it, you don't miss out on any prizes, the lottery will contact you.

You can still play without registration if you want, but your tickets are not protected.

Old lottery tickets aren't like fine wine, they don't get better with age. They'll never be worth more than they were right after the drawing.

The Luck of the Irish strikes twice !! Ever since there has been Peace in Ireland after the troubles ,thank God.

What stopped the terrorism was full employment in Ireland supported by the UK the US. Mainly high tech jobs.

In Ireland, a Wexford man is ending 2014 on a very high note after discovering he's won 350,000.

The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, bought a 6 Lotto ticket with Plus on 29 November in Centra on the Errigal Road, Drimnagh, Dublin 12.

He won the top prize in the Lotto Plus 1 draw that evening, worth 350,000, but remained oblivious to his good fortune for a month.

I just found out yesterday, he said.
