The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence and more preferable lottery games are in other states But I was comparing Lucky for Life with the KY's current $2 Five Card Cash game with odds of 1:2,598,960 for winning $100,000. The odds on another game, Cash Ball are 1:1,268,520 for winning $200,000 on $1 ticket and players can purchase 50 cent tickets.

The overall odds are terrible on all three games, but better than the $5 a ticket Monopoly MC.

Lots of states have $1 local games that paid better than $5.75M cash with 1:30.8M odds so this could be a hard sell even in Kentucky.

The payoffs ain't that bad for a $2 game with two nice jackpots. Sales will depend on the size of the MM and PB jackpots.

It would be nice if the state legislation would lift the 35% restrictions I did think about contacting my legislator but don't know what good it would do. I guess I'll just have to continue to play in Texas.

It looks like maybe lottery players are going to have to get the laws changed if you guys want better games. You all seem to have a lot of restrictions in place when it come to the type of lotteries that you are allowed to have there.

Doesn't look like Oklahoma will be getting this game or any other game for that matter.

From OLC we have looked into games like this before and unfortunately our state's 35% profit restriction keeps us from being able to participate in games of this nature. the cash options aren't that great considering the large matrix of numbers you have to get right to win them. better off playing the other games with better cash options. see powerball and mega millions cash option 2nd tier prizes compared to this one. better off funneling the money into those than this. game appeals to a younger demographic to be sure but most lottery players were born before 1965 which negates the long term benefit of this game

No way I would want to play a crooked game. However, many people here say if you come up with a really successful system, you should keep it to yourself. There has to be a reason for that.

According to Missouri Lottery website you can play up to 15 drawings.

Options:

Multi-Draw: Play the same numbers for up to 15 consecutive drawings by selecting MULTI DRAW.

I really hope WA State Lottery is paying attention to this thread and it would be awesome to have this game replace the current lucky for life game that cost $5.. Which is $1000 a week for life and this new game that is offered beats it by offering $7000 a week for life..

I like this game, I have won a decent amount of money on it and the prizes are good, especially the top 2 prizes. If it is having poor sales I would say it is more due to a lack of poor promotion than anything else.

This sounds like the NJ Cash for Life. Article mentions 15 states but assume it's a different game since the names are different.

Good feature is that the prize money will go to the winner's estate ,in the event they expire before the 20 years payout annuity.

Your comment assumes that the lottery is crooked. Because if they could somehow create a tally of numbers being posted by people here, what use would that be to them? To beg and plead with the spinning ball hopper machines to pretty-please not draw those numbers? Or are you suggesting that they can (like a magician) make the balls come out the way they choose?

I gather lottery data myself for study using a couple of methods and having the numbers in draw order is better.

I would like to see this game come to Texas. Here they have had scratch tickets like weekly grand etc already.

The jackpot and 2nd prize both have cash options. The top prize cash is $5,750,000.00 which would be well worth it to me. Second prize is only $390,000.00 cash, but if I were to win I'd probably still take the cash at this stage in life.

By monitored I meant that they may be observing which players may have successful systems or methods. They do want us to win, but maybe not too much... Not that anyone here is going to crack the code anytime soon, but I bet they would be very interested if they thought someone was getting close.

this game hasn't really enjoyed robust sales in the states in which it is offered. reason: although the 1000 a day sounds good it isn't the payday most are looking for. they want 100 million plus immediately rather than getting it slowly, very slowly in comparison. at 2.00 a ticket the masses give up after a few losing draws. it's a decent prize and no one knows how they pay it out. do you get a check every week or once a month or when and how much. it would be nice to watch your bank account gr... Todd, i did not realize that industry folks look into LP everyday. It can mean a good thing and to some posters it can mean a bad thing. When he said monitored he probably meant something like the RNGs being monitored by the industry folks. As if they know what numbers are being used. I assume that is not actually happening.

News flash: Lots of people in the lottery industry read Lottery Post every day. Why wouldn't they? To say it's monitoring is funny. How about the 10,000 other people reading this news story? Are they also monitoring the story, or are they simply reading it?

Thank goodness people in the industry care enough about what lottery players are talking about to take an interest in it.
