If you got a big winner on a stolen scratch off you will not be able to cash it in any ways?

It will be listed as stolen by the Lottery Commissioners Office.

So dumb on their part to think that they would be able to cash it in any way.

Can't believe he went back to the same store .. reminds me of a amateur thief a few years ago who handed a bank teller a piece of paper demanding money- she handed it over and the cops were at his house in less than 15 mins while he was counting his haul.. The guy had written his demand for cash on the back of his personal deposit slip.

Don't these people know that the tickets can be tracked. A hot ticket is a fast trip to jail no matter who cashes it in

they are going to have to explain how they got it. I can't believe he went back to the same store to cash it in. Sad.

A Port Orange, Florida, father and son accused of stealing $300 worth of scratch-off lottery tickets from a convenience store didn't have much luck, Volusia sheriff's investigators said.

Robert Carbonell, 54, and his son, Robert Carbonell Jr., 28, were caught on Saturday after video surveillance at the store showed the older Carbonell coming back to the store to cash in a $90-winning ticket, arrest reports state.
