I went to the Hoosier Lottery website and found the story of how the Power Ball ticket was claimed just in time. This was the $50,000.00 winner.

The time is up and we have not heard one way or another if the ticket and winnings are lost.

Martyn and Kay Tott from London, England can teach us players a lesson. Their story is here on Lottery Post using the Search box. It is a terrible story.

They forgot to watch the Lottery draw one night and also forgot to check their ticket. They lost out on three million pounds.

This destroyed their marriage. Kay could not talk about it and cried when she tried. Martyn was angry about the rules.

A guy l know once said l treat my purchase of lottery tickets or scratchers like concert tickets, l paid, so l want to see a performance. He said he would lose it if he lost his tickets. He has a point.

I cannot imagine the heartache these players will feel the day after the expiration dates.

I guess that the Indiana lottery is getting a lot of stories from different people claiming the prizes. My dog ate it . My home burned down . etc. etc.

Indiana lottery players check your tickets: a lottery ticket worth more than a million bucks is about to expire.

The winner bought the Hoosier Lotto ticket last October at the Circle K located at 139 W. Lagrange Road in Hanover, Indiana.

The ticket for the drawing on Sat., Oct. 28, 2017, matched all six numbers and is worth $1.5 million. The winning numbers were 5, 8, 28, 33, 38, and 40.
