Transparency has yet to yield a false claim maybe that's why most logical folks understand that anonymity has a backdoor for fiasco like this.

Music, I was just going to say that exact statement bringing embarrassment to your employer stuck out like a sore thumb and brings to mind the story of having one head's under a woman's blouse rings true. You are very right, ALL lotteries needs more employees like these in this story. What is going on in other states we know nothing about?

Ticketless win? I dont believe they have ever awarded a prize without a ticket

Steam coming out of my ears and couldn't read the whole article so am prejudiced in my thoughts.

A 'ticketless' winner? WTH is that all about.

Too bad the whistleblowers didn't sue for more considering the 1/3 Attorney fee.

Seems to me the Feds may look into this seemingly going down the toilet lottery, though not sure about this. We'll see what comes of that up your dress Ma'am party when that comes to fruition.

The California Lottery needs more employees like these four.

Secrecy in Government must be challenged with sunlight and courage. Bringing embarrassment to your employer is code for coverups.

The change will come this November at the ballot box.

We must support Freedom of the Press.

Just got to thinking, given the department's payback procedures- those whistleblowers who took pictures at the lottery party two years ago, and want people fired. They better watch it, if they get canned, it should come as no surprise.l warned them..

Employees were fired for questioning two jackpot payouts

The California State Lottery has paid more than $500,000 to settle lawsuits filed by two former investigators who claimed they were fired for calling attention to jackpots they believed the lottery improperly awarded to recipients who could not prove they were winners.

The two ousted lottery cops had flagged a $2 million jackpot in 2015 and a $750,000 prize in 2016 that they argued should not have been paid.
