I can assure you that this game is terrible, sad is keeping this game around when probably 2% of people actually play the game, let alone know about it. It's just a waste of time and space.

The facts in this article is the temporary suspension of the NJ 5 Card Cash sales and drawings because of the virus. Has nothing to do about expressing opinions, but if nobody can play the game, what is the relevance of saying the game sucks and/or should be discontinued

Everyone's entitled to their opinions on which games suck and which games should be discontinued. The reality is most lottery directors would love to increase the payouts to entice more players, but they are hamstrung by state laws that cap how much can be paid back to players. My suggestion to Think was sincere, not snarky.

You'll get the same type of criticism of casino games you get with lottery games. It's the same with cars, soft drinks, houses, and any thing with multiple choice. If they don't like Bud Light, they'll say, they should stop making it.

You can please some of the people all of the time, all the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time.

If you want games with decent payout, go to a casino. Or learn cards and play against people who aren't as smart. With the state taking a 50% cut, lottery games are never going to be good. The main points in favor of lottery games are that you dont have to go far to play and you can bet very little.

Fifty years ago scratch-offs type games and a couple of pick-3 games were the only games in town. There are statistics suggesting 90 million Americans play lotteries annually, but I believe state lotteries are more interested in regular players. And probably why now there is a variety of games.

There is just so much money out there that can be gambled. The state knows this and they also know their suckers. I have been playing the lottery in going on 5 decades now and I have seen the games get worse and worse. It is the old divide and conquer rule. If there are lots and lots of bad games then nobody will win anything good on any of them.

It's more like scratch-off tickets where you can win up to $5000 iinstantly and get a chance to win $100,000 in the nightly drawing. Just a guess, but maybe Michigan hasn't dropped the game is because people are playing it.

Never could figure out why some people criticize things because they don't like ir or don't do it. If you don't roller skate, should they close all roller rinks

In Michigan this game is called Poker Lotto with no advanced draws either.

Why hasn't Michigan shut this game off or, better yet, dropped it permanently

WHAS-11 had a news segment on the KLC featuring Chip Polston. My question was aired stating about the ball drawings and how technical they are. So with COVID-19, KLC answered my IM on FB about me not being happy with RNG for Pick 3, 4 and Cashball 225---then one I play. This way a computer takes the place, as we know, of human interaction with balls. After this is over with I seriously doubt they will ever return to mechanical balls.

The one New Jersey game that's drawn by computer needs two extra employees because the people who work the ping pong balls can't type a few commands on a computer? And here we have a state like Kentucky moving to computer drawings because they claim they're easier and cheaper to operate than ping pong balls.

My state dropped this game awhile back - no one played it really.

I wonder how many NJ residents play it on a daily basis?

Interesting it required 2 dedicated workers on it.

The temporary suspension of 5 Card Cash is designed to protect the health and safety of Lottery employees and its customers.
