Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the first time Mississippi hit MM with MP for $2 million? Happy for them and newest state for a lottery.

BTW and stop laughing but all my on-line purchases resulted in nothing!!

Suzy-Dittlenose, am thinking seriously of scratchers too, much better odds...just have to buy @ the right store, right time. Certainly we all know that drill.

WELL, this is it for me for awhile. It will take a while for the jackpot of MM or PB to get to $100 million now. Lottery tickets are way too expensive. $2 is too much to throw away for a game you stand almost no chance to win for a very low jackpot.

One winner....Arizona. Jackpot reset to $20 million. Powerball increases by $2 million now so MegaMillions will now follow suit. It's going to take awhile to reach the tripple digit jackpots. It will be sometime before I buy at $2 a ticket. I'll take a look at the scratcher tickets instead....

I hear that you should not buy the most expensive house. Barbara Corcoran said to buy the house with an average price tag. Do your homework on the neighborhood. Are there plenty of old flourishing trees along the street? Enjoy the hunt for a home.

I've toured the house during 2 open houses.

I like houses. I'm probably the only person interested in that house. It's a very high price for our area.

If it rolls til Friday then it ties for the record number of rolls before it is won. If it rolls til next Tuesday and beyond then it is a record breaking run in terms of how many times it has rolled without being won

It will be time to dance and laugh all the way to the bank.

I enjoy the number of plays we have before a winning ticket is purchased. I have more chances of winning.

The cash value is wonderful. A winner could do so much good.

When interest rates increase than the Annuity might be an option. Especially for young winners.

It's important to check out how great that cash value is. The current cash value is normally associated with an annuity jackpot of around $500 million, so it's an excellent buy right now.

Think about it, lower starting jackpots and very slow incremental increases. I'll wait and see if my prediction comes to fruition, which I believe it will be. If they were betting on another record breaker, they would have left well enough alone.

The odds on MM and PB are so daunting that I only play it a couple times a year. It would be nice to hit a lower tier prize as I always play the multipler. (And with MM the $1 million prize can multiply up to 5X, PB is only 2X though, but I certainly wouldn't complain.)

So I guess the bottom line for me when it comes to playing the big two games is that I just do it for fun with no expectations.

Went to the store looked @ the lotto machine and didn't play. Came home and played thirteen (13) MM/MP tickets on-line.

Its a lot of dough to win - especially if you are in a state that does not allow anonymous claim.

I never thought of myself as a big jackpot winner - if I was even lucky enough to win - it would be when the jackpot starts over and is at its lowest amount -

The odds of winning $200 is 1 in 14,547 - I still have yet to reach those heights.
