Great point! We have a 12:15 cut off here in MD and at least a couple times a month I am either scrambling to get them in before that or miss all together. I Know I have missed a box hit or two because I didnt get there in time.

Better late than never. The Midday draw for 3 4 numbers game was obviously timed by a non- player. I mean 12:30 Close time should have been changed years ago. To acomadate those at lunch time. They don't know the customery noon lunch

You Have Changed the Times schedule to allow more players. How about opening up the CLAIM CENTERS to Pay Out winning Tickets PROMPTLY. JUST CLOSE IT DOWN , UNTIL YOU CAN PAY OUT.

What if my daily routine is to stop and buy my Lotto ticket at 9PM? The extra time certainly shouldn't hurt the other games, but as near as I can figure, the only thing they've really done for Lotto is take away 3 hours of sales time. I suppose it lets people find out sooner if they won anything, but it's almost 2 hours past the new drawing time and they haven't posted the numbers on the results page.... [ More ]

Gweneth Dean says the lottery is always looking for ways to provide convenience and accessibility to its customers. Since when? What do you call increasing the number of balls, and raising the price of mega, Powerball,cash for life etc

If you think paying with a credit/debit card is bad for lottery tickets, I read upstate casinos in NY (slots) are being retrofitted to accept plastic as well.

The other interesting thing I noted is that one retailer I visit indicates that they now accept credit and debit card payments for lottery tickets; previously this was prohibited. NY State's finances are so disastrous that these changes can be deduced to be an effort to increase sales/revenues to the state coffers. Government having the best interests of its citizens as the paramount concern once again.

I dont really care about draw time. Yes its accomadting. And I generalee would not reject it.

What I would like is consistency.

If I can cancel a pick 3 ticket.

than why cant I cancel a pick 5 ticket?

P.S.

Calling Quinto a Pick 5 is supremely annoying and confusing.

Md. recently changed the machines. Instead of having someone push a button to bring up the balls, now they do it by remote control. Result: Three machine malfunctions since Sept 28.

The New York Lottery Monday started drawing its games at different times of the day, upending years of ingrained habits by its players.

Effective November 2, the New York Lottery games with new draw times include New York's Daily Numbers, Win4, Take 5, Pick 10, and Lotto.
