It used to be 16 weeks but they changed it a couple of years ago to mirror expiration rules around legal procedures, contracts etc.

Unfortunately/luckily I don't play anonymously so it wasn't me. 11 million though, can you imagine

Wow, 3 1/2 years is a long time Germany gives a lottery winner time to claim their prize. Here in the U.S. most states gives the winner 6 months to claim their prize, that should be the most for ALL lotteries. Even then a lot of lottery prizes still go unclaimed.

The ticket was immediately lost. Nobody sits on a big prize like that for any length of time

Wow, three and a half years, hoping the winner or winners would come forward? That's longer than some marriages. Probably ended up a clump in the washer or in a landfill. How tragic for someone out there. Better not to know than know at this point.
