*What's incredibly challenging would be listening to one of your customer's complaining that after 20 years of marriage, the wife left him for Juan the gardener.

So glad Colorado allowed them to take the lump sum, instead of forcing them to take the for life option. I have heard that option is not available in all states. Congrats to them both. Married for 53 years. Now even more financial security to live out their golden years.

Different rules for different states. Here in KY employees cannot purchase tickets where they work...but who is to know unless you win big?

Congratulations on this story. Look @ this California lottery...claimed the very next work day with no problem. Surprised they didn't need an appointment first.

May they have many more years together and should be able to find a nice home with that windfall! Happy Wife=Happy Life

It's the state's first top prize win in the multi-state game

Colorado just had its very first top prize winner in the Lucky for Life multi-state game, who scooped up the $5.75 million cash option jackpot this week.

Richard O. did not think twice about claiming his prize after winning $1,000 a day for life in the Lucky for Life drawing on Fri., Aug. 20, 2021. On Monday morning he claimed his prize as a lump sum and has plans to put the prize money to good use.
