been playing for decades and thars times I feel like you, but as I often tell my few friends :

the odds are about even for every player, trick is to trust one's instincts and spend the the given minimal

I don't have any preset level to start playing

but even when the pots start hitting the mid 6 figures mark, I play and purposely skip playing at times

Won't be me. Finally taking a hiatus from playing the lottery and have been playing for decades. Personally when the billion dollar lotto is hit, feels to me like all the air let out a balloon.

I do think LP has addressed that most winners are from QP.

So are you saying the folks in Atlanta (MM) and Universal Studios (PB) (FL) Iowa pre-select the winners?

That is the craziest thing I've ever read on LP.

What would be their motivation to do that. Their handle on the next game will drop if there is no carryover. A lot of people won't play until it gets back to that 40 million like it used to be in one or both of those games. Of course then those that won't play unless it is a billion or close to it. What difference does it make how much the jackpot is.

A single ticket sold in Pennsylvania matched all six numbers in the Powerball lottery drawing Wednesday night, lottery officials announced today.

Someone in Pennsylvania is holding a ticket worth $206.9 million. The winner will have the option to take the cash payment of $122.4 million instead of the annuity.
