To me, when quads and triples hit, and they payout is like $3 to $8 million; its not really a lot. State lotteries rack in billions per year. The average payout is pretty low. That 8.7 million dollars could be made up in no time.

Lets say that lottery players in VA spent a total of $450,000 daily. In a month, they would have made over $13 million. I understand its a big business, and they have to make more than what they payout. Otherwise there would be no more state lotteries. I wonder what... [ More ]

According to the Lottery, players wagered a total of $451,628 in the drawing and won over $8.7 million in total prizes .

It looks like $1740 was wagered on 9999 and possibly $1740 was wagered on the other nine quads too. Still less than 4% of the total wagers.

If its not your first love, its hard to make it a new love.

One of the simplests and most logical way to hit a str8 is to take the longest out FP, and marry it with the longest out BP.

I considered it. Help also helps. Mz Duffle Bag laddy helped my with a 19 pair that was coming.

it finally came as a 1987, but I just cant sustain the desire to play another game. I am playing too many already!!

I've played off/on per every other few days add in Triple 999's (with a zero)or 1, for NC pick 4 and past week or 2 adding in 9999 and now i see it hit, in Virginia? I hope NC it will soon.

The lottery actually loses money on the drawing, even with the cap. The cap prevents them from losing twice or three times as much as what they would lose if there was no cap.

The only states that do not lose money on a quad hit is a state like New Jersey or California that uses pari-mutuel payouts for the prizes.

The drawing . All those quads get played daily by some players. Day after day, draw after draw.

They may have lost on that draw , but they certainly rake in on the regular, lol. But that's gambling, and these folks that play quads regularly never really gain much, if any. The odds are really bad.

Those are some lucky happy campers especially the ones that play $20 separate tickets tickets or more like they do in New York, actually some people play $100 worth of tickets the same number.. wonder how long they been playing that 9999
