Rhode Island is the smallest state. Will admit the many times driving from being stationed in the greater DC area for eight years to Massachusetts, Delaware seemed to be blink of the eye and you were in New Jersey

Actually Delaware lottery winnings have been taxable by the state since around 2009. There is no sales tax though. The lottery only collects federal tax, but you pay the state tax when one files their state income tax.

Tax-Free in Delaware, so that's beautiful $$$ better.
