Always a nasty comment with name calling for a member that had a different opinion on a topic.

And yes, a winner might need to line up advice for even a $1 million win. It is never wrong to do your homework first since not every winner is a savvy lp member.

No, I doubt the two ticket buyers are getting their duck in a row before claiming the prize. Their prize is one million dollars each, which will be less after taxes. There is no need to get any ducks in a row. The tickets were purchased back in July, that far back, the tickets most likely have been thrown away or misplaced.

Plano is north of Dallas, a little far from home, Prairie View is just north of Houston, 4 hrs from home. So...I didnt buy either ticket. Plus, I check my tix right after the draw.

Never understood why someone would bother buying a ticket if thyre too lazy to check it.

Maybe one or both winners are getting their ducks in a row before claiming?

I have had coworkers tell me that they don't even bother to check their tickets if they hear the jp was won elsewhere. I have explained the 2nd prize and other prizes but you cannot fix laziness. Some professionals have very poor money management skills. One even asked me years ago where to check for the winning numbers.

I am not surprised. It is so easy to forget about the purchases you've made if you are out drinking or having fun with friends. Plano Texas is only a few miles North of Dallas. Prairie View is Northwest of Houston. There are a lot of people riding around buying tickets from those 2 huge cities. For years people have taken advantage of the term designated driver . Both tickets were purchased at a gas station,probably they paid for gas and oh btw give me a quick pick. Of which probably went straight into the car glove compartment. If you buy a ticket you need to check the ticket. A shame there are responsible players, that don't win the jackpot and this happens.
