I usually buy my tickets with the multiplier so even if I don't win the jackpot, anything I win would be at the least doubled.

I can't imagine what I would feel like if I had a just the jackpot with five numbers matching and didn't win a penny.

At least, if I had five numbers, I would win at least two million or more.

Bought two in the store with Megaplier, one on line with Megaplier, and opted for Just the Jackpot.

Again, I'll reiterate. Notice how (so far) this drawing and the last Friday one they did not up the ante one bit. Kind of sad that went away it seems. To me it added fuel to the fire and more excitement, but that's just my worthless opinion.

Minimum play is 2 tickets witch is like a $3 minimum wager.

It kinda reminds me of the Lotto Extra we used to have in the UK as that too was Jackpot only.

I'm surprised no one has won with a Just the Jackpot wager yet. (And it's only been five years)

I'd recommend buying a Just the Jackpot alongside a regular Mega Millions ticket. That way, you still have a shot of the smaller prizes. (Including the $1,000,000 second prize

it appears that ever since PB added Monday drawings the MM doesn't climb as fast as without that drawing?

PB tends to grow a bit faster from week to week, but when you compare drawing to drawing I think MM get a slight edge.

What are the chances of rolling over now?

Slightly better than 2 in 3, assuming sales aren't any better than the forecast that gave us the $1.1 billion advertised jackpot.

On Friday 102 million tickets were sold which is 60 million lower than when the jackpot was about the same in July. When that $1.2 billion jackpot was won, when almost 352 million tickets were sold.

With all the billion plus jackpots, MUSL might consider advertising the cash value.

Kate did a video on this very topic sometime back. Find it on the YouTube channel.

The lottery site for my state, Louisiana, has an interactive map showing where winning tickets are sold and most are of course sold in the southeastern part of the state, New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and the surrounding areas which are of course, where most of the state's population is. Shreveport in the northwest also sells a lot of winners for the same reason.

In other words, it's a numbers game.

You'd literally have to spend $1 million per day, like like Brewster, but for nearly a year.

Generally, no. I try to stick to anonymous states. Sometimes, I can't. If a state game is high enough I'll buy a ticket. Right now, I'm stuck in Indianapolis getting my truck serviced. So, to make sure I'm in the game, I had to walk to a gas station.

I buy 1 ticket for each drawing starting at $1+ billion.

In my state of MN the post tax cash option is 26% of the jackpot.

My state allows you to remain anonymous.

If I win? Simple.

Take 1% of post tax cash option and give it to charity and family and friends.

50% charity and split the other half between 6 people.

So $294k each

Don't quit my job, but buy my dream car, the 2023 Prius prime.

If you read the list of winning states, you would know CA, FL, NJ and NY are not the only states that always win the big MM and PB jackpots. There are a lot other states that win also. AZ, NH, and MD have won several times. CA has won the most jackpots because they have the most lottery vending machines in more locations than any other state in the country.
