Unfortunately it isn't all that uncommon for jackpot winning Fantasy5 tickets to expire.

Since May of 2012 there have been 174 unclaimed Fantasy5 jackpot winning tickets. Most recent was in April of 2022 when a $208,366 winner was never claimed. G5

It is not that the person does not want $186,000. He or she has either thrown away or forgotten where they put the ticket. You would be surprised how many winning lottery tickets go unclaimed each year in the US.

There's a winning Florida Lottery Fantasy 5 ticket worth $186,000 laying unclaimed somewhere, and it's set to expire in two weeks.

The Florida Lottery announced on Wednesday that a six-figure Fantasy 5 ticket worth $186,000 is going to expire, and there's not much time left for the winner to step forward.
