Good to know ! I am only focusing on hitting the bonus ball. My theory is I only have 26 or 27 numbers to choose from and if I only hit the bonus I at least get my money back. Every once in awhile it will give me a few good numbers to go along with it. For me I have better luck picking the bonus number than the other 5.

Depending on the method I use, I often use a quickpick for the the MegaBall and pick the 5 numbers myself. I did a side by side study in which I bought 2 tickets every week, one with me picking by both the 5 numbers and the bonus ball and one using Terminal quickpicks. When I did this for both Powerball and MegaMillions, the Terminal quickpicks matched the Powerball/MegaBall more often than the other methods so I usually just focus on trying to get the first 5 and let the terminal handle the res... Many times I will pick the Mega number and get random numbers for the rest. Best of both worlds

That would be such a sweet win on a QP.

Will make sure I rub it in like some ointment.

Since Doubleplay came here, I stopped playing with Powerplay except on-line. That option still not available. Maybe frayed logic, but the second set of #'s could yield me $10 million vs max of $2 million with Powerplay.

Now for Mega millions, she still gets Megaplier

I always add them too. Like you, I believe dreams can come true so I keep playing.

Even if I don't win, I am always happy for those who do and am very happy for these folks.

Hahahaha I am with you on this one.

I religiously give both PB and MM and extra buck for a chance to win more.

I too feel it's time and should I win, I will definitely let LP folks know that I won and to make matters worse, I won on a QP

Hitting second prize on MM when the multiplier is 4 or 5 would be such a sweet deal.

Hitting the JP now would be amazing.

Onward we go.

I always add the megaplier and powerplay! I've been doing it for years so I'm so ready to get my investment back with with the extra dollar I've been giving to the lottery folks who's living off my investment. C'mon you guys just give me something back so I know people can win! I really do believe in dreams do come true! Maybe I can be the next Charlie Buckett! One wins double the prize as the other, thanks to Power Play

Friends who play together, win together although in this case maybe not winning the same amount.

Saginaw, Michigan resident Naomi Cawley, 59, matched four white balls plus the Powerball in the Feb. 21 drawing to win a $50,000 prize. Thanks to her purchasing the Power Play option for an extra $1, the prize was multiplied to $100,000.
